Change of contractor for waste collection

Please note that a new contractor has been designated to collect residual materials.

As a result of this change, you may notice a slight difference in collection times. However, the collection days remain the same, and the bins must be placed on the side of the road before 7 a.m. as stipulated by the municipal by-law.

Public consultation on the functioning of towing services

A public consultation on the functioning of towing services according to the specific needs of the Public Security Service of the MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais will take place in the Council Room of the MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais, located at 216, Old Chelsea Road, Chelsea at 2:00 p.m. on  August 22nd, 2018.

Request for Comments on Proposed Change to Transfer Duties for Properties valued at more than $ 500 000.

For your information, the municipal council will evaluate at its August 7, 2018, meeting draft bylaw number 1080-18 to change the transfer duties for properties valued at more than $500,000.

As of this year, the transfer duties set by the Province are as follows:

Questionnaire on Health Services in Chelsea

Dear Chelsea residents,

Last March, Chelsea’s Municipal Council adopted a resolution creating a Working Group on Health Services in Chelsea.

The mandate of this committee is to establish and document the needs for health care and services, and to propose an action plan to promote and increase health services in our municipality.
