Council passed a resolution changing the number of tax instalments in 2019

Municipal Council's resolution was passed at the December 4 meeting and changes the dates and number of tax instalments for those who pay their taxes that way. Starting January 1, 2019, there will be four payments instead of six. The change is designed to make it easier for residents and  municipal staff to manage and to make the schedule more predictable. Reducing the number of payments should also help residents avoid missing deadlines and possibly losing their instalment privileges.

The new payment deadlines are as follows:

• March 1^st, 2019                                                                                                                                                                             
• May 1^st, 2019
• July 1^st, 2019
• September 1^st, 2019
