First phase of the work on the Hollow Glen dam successfully completed!

The Municipality would like to inform residents that the first and most important phase of the work to be done on the Hollow Glen dam has been completed with success and on time. The Hollow Glen road is now open to traffic.

The work of the second phase, in regards to the installation of the automatic valve, will be realised between November 17 and 28 and will not impact the traffic. With the completion of this phase, the water level will gradually increase in order to reach its historical level.

Finally, with recommendations of the landscape architect trees and bushes will be planted next spring to ensure the viability of the vegetation.
