Green initiatives: financial support for sustainable hygiene products and tree planting

This year, the Municipality launched two incentive programs to encourage sustainable choices and reduce the community's ecological footprint.

Incentive for the purchase of sustainable personal hygiene products

Thanks to the Fonds Vert, the Municipality now offers financial assistance for the purchase of sustainable personal hygiene products. This initiative offers several benefits, including a significant waste reduction sent to landfill sites and financial savings.

Participants can obtain a refund of 50% of the pre-tax amount on eligible products, such as menstrual cups, washable incontinence pants, cloth diapers, and much more!

Incentive for native tree planting

The Municipality is offering financial support to encourage the planting of native trees on private property as part of its greening project. This initiative is in line with the Strategic Plan, the 2021-2026 Climate Change Adaptation Plan, and the Tree Policy.

This incentive program offers a 100% reimbursement of the bill up to a maximum of 200$, subject to specific conditions.
