Légalization of Cannabis : Council Will Vote on the By-law during next Council Meeting

October 15, 2018

During the upcoming Council meeting, the Municipal Council will vote on the standardized by-law regulating the use of cannabis in public spaces.

The notice of motion and the draft by-law were submitted during the last Council meeting on October 2nd. This by-law will replace by-law number 17-RM-04 previously aimed at maintaining public peace and good order within the limits of the Municipality of Chelsea. The draft regulation provides for a ban on smoking, of any material, in public spaces.

You can consult the draft by-law in the agenda of the last Council meeting, on page 182, by clicking here.
