Sale of equipment and machinery

The Municipality of Chelsea wishes to dispose of used equipment and machinery no longer required for certain municipal services.

Interested bidders must submit their offers by February 17, 2025, before 10 a.m. Sealed submissions documents should be clearly labeled and delivered to the reception desk at the Town Hall, located at 100 Chemin Old Chelsea. Late submissions will be rejected.

Conditions of sale:

  • All items are sold "as is."
  • The Municipality is not obligated to accept any bids and reserves the right to reject any offer that it considers unsatisfactory.
  • Potential buyers can schedule appointments to verify the condition of the items.
  • Any municipal and fire department logos must be removed by the buyer at their own expense within 21 days of the sale.
  • If no offers are received or accepted, the Municipality may proceed with a sale by mutual agreement, if such a sale is considered beneficial for the Municipality and its officials.
  • Please note that there is no vehicular radio included with the machinery.
