The Municipality of Chelsea wishes to remind all residents that a new speed limit has come into effect on a section of Route 105.
The municipal Council officially adopted the by-law modifying the speed limit on this section at its ordinary meeting of August 20, 2024. These changes align with the objectives of the “Mobility and Active Living” strategic pillar of the Chelsea 2040 Strategic Plan, which aims to develop a safe and more accessible transportation network in Chelsea.
The speed limit is now 50 km/h on route 105 between Chemin Scott and Chemin Saint-Clément.
Signs announcing speed limit changes were installed on October 10, 2024, to notify road users.
