The Public Works Department of the Municipality of Chelsea wishes to inform the population that a boil water advisory is now in effect for the entire water system.
As of October 1st, collections have been changed to the winter schedule, which means that compost and recycling are picked up every two weeks and garbage is only picked up once every four weeks.
Residents are now able to safely consume water from the municipal aqueduct.
All Chelsea residents served by the municipal water system must boil their water for at least one minute before consuming it, until the advisory is lifted.
The municipal offices will exceptionally close at noon on Thursday, October 13.
Due to ongoing work on the water system, the Municipality of Chelsea is asking its residents served by the water system to reduce their water consumption until further notice.
At the end of the public consultations, both face-to-face and virtual, the Municipality of Chelsea now invites you to participate in the consultative survey on the update of its cultural policy.
Council will meet at the Hollow Glen Community Center on October 4.
