Council takes position on the location of the future affiliated university hospital center (chau)

At its regular meeting on March 8, Council adopted a resolution expressing its concerns about the choice of location for the new affiliated university hospital center in the Outaouais and asking the Quebec government to choose a sustainable, responsible and accessible location for the center.

Good news for La Fab sur Mill!

The Municipality of Chelsea is pleased to learn that La Fab sur Mill will receive a grant of $624,762 for its project to transform the former Grace United Church into a cultural center.

Update: Garbage collection postponed

Due to the difficult road conditions experienced during the ice storms of February 23 and 24, garbage collection could not be carried out on several streets in the Municipality. The collection of the streets affected by this break in service will be resumed on Monday, March 7 as of 7:00 a.m.

Excavation material available for filling purposes

This summer, the Public Works Department will be digging ditches at a few locations in the area. Excavation material will be available for backfill purposes. Residents of the Municipality wishing to obtain backfill material can make a request now.

Postponement of residual materials collection for private roads

Please note that due to the difficult road conditions, the contractor in charge of the collection of residual materials has postponed by one day the collection of garbage and compost that was scheduled today and tomorrow on private roads.
