The Municipality of Chelsea wishes to remind all residents that a new speed limit has come into effect on Chemin Saint-Clément.
The Municipal Council officially adopted the by-law modifying the speed limit on this section at its ordinary meeting of August 20, 2024. This change is aligned with the objectives of the “Mobility and Active Living” strategic pillar of the Chelsea 2040 Strategic Plan, which aims to develop a safer and more accessible transport network in Chelsea.
The speed limit for motorists is reduced from 50 km/h to 40 km/h.
Signs announcing speed limit changes were installed on November 20, 2024, to alert road users.
