Awarding of a contract for the management of residual materials
Council awarded the contract for residual materials management (compost, garbage and recyclables) for municipal containers to Location Martin-Lalonde Inc. for an amount of 26 726,28 $.
Extension of contract for the collection of Christmas trees
The municipal Council approves the extension of the contract for the collection, transportation and disposal of Christmas trees for 2025, for $17,246.25.
Request for funds to redevelop the former Cascades train station
The Recreation Department wishes to apply to Canadian Heritage for financial assistance under the Legacy Fund program for the Cascades Station redevelopment project to assist with expenses related to Chelsea's 150th-anniversary celebrations in 2025.
The municipal Council agrees to go ahead with the request for financial assistance.
Support to SOS Outaouais in calling on the Quebec government to improve health and social services in the Outaouais region
To add its voice the SOS Outaouais coalition, the municipal Council is asking the Quebec government:
Grant to the ACRE organization
To cover the costs associated with the purchase of the 57-acre forest to be used by the community, the Council grants the sum of $8,429.49 to Action Chelsea pour le Respect de l'Environnement (ACRE) and requests :
