Award of Contract and Payment for the Replacement of the SCADA System at the Centre-Village Water Treatment Plants
The Council awarded a contract of $44,242.38 to Automatisation JRT Inc. for the replacement of the SCADA system at the centre-village water treatment plants. This upgrade ensures compliance with environmental requirements. Payment will be made from the sector operating surplus – centre-village.
Award of Contract and Payment for an Energy Study at the Meredith Centre from the Unallocated Surplus
By decision of the Council, a contract of $19,833.19 was awarded to DWB Consultants for an energy analysis at the Meredith Centre. Recommended by Hydro-Québec under the Solutions Efficaces program, this analysis aims to significantly reduce electricity consumption. Payment will be made from the unallocated surplus.
Support to the City of Blainville in the Stablex File
The Council supports the City of Blainville in the matter of Bill 93, expresses its disagreement with the proposed property transfer in this bill, reiterates the call for respect of municipal powers in land use planning, and requests that the BAPE be mandated to investigate the management of residual hazardous materials.
Congratulations to Mrs. Katherine Sandford for Winning her First Emmy® Award
The Council congratulates Mrs. Katherine Sandford for winning an Emmy® in the category of "Best Writing for a Preschool Program" for the episode "Can they be Friends?" from Sesame Street on March 15 in Los Angeles.
Congratulations to the Recipients of the King Charles III Coronation Medal
On March 3, 2025, the King Charles III Coronation Medal was awarded to 17 individuals, including six from Chelsea, by Member of Parliament Sophie Chatel. The Council warmly congratulates the following recipients:
