Installation of signs announcing speed limit changes on Chemin Saint-Clément

At the ordinary Council meeting held on August 20, 2024, a modification to the speed limit was approved. This modification concerns Chemin Saint-Clément.

Signs will be installed on November 20, 2024, to notify road users of the upcoming speed change.

The speed limit will be reduced from 50 km/h to 40 km/h.

According to the law, these changes will come into effect 30 days after installing the advance notice signs, starting on December 20, 2024.

Why change the speed limit?

These adjustments are in line with the "Mobility and Active Living" pillar of the Strategic Plan, which aims to create a safer and more accessible transportation network in Chelsea.
