Call for Members: Transports and Sustainable Mobility Advisory Committe

The Municipality wishes to fill vacant positions on the Transports and Sustainable Mobility Advisory Committee and is looking for residents interested in volunteering for a two-year term, with the possibility of renewal. The committee meets once a month at 8:30 a.m.

The Municipality is looking for residents interested in joining a committee that works to improve infrastructures, promote sustainable mobility, and ensure the safety of road users in Chelsea for both current and future generations. The committee also focuses on infrastructure adaptation and asset management to ensure long-term sustainability and efficiency.

Interested candidates should have training and/or experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Sustainable mobility;
  • Active transport;
  • Road engineering;
  • Safety and security;
  • Asset management.

Applications must come from Chelsea residents, aged 18 or over, with a good oral and written understanding of French and English.

Following receipt of the applications, a selection committee will make its choice and the appointment of the new members will be ratified by the municipal Council.
