What are oversized metal items?
This refers to bulky items made mainly of metal which, because of their size or volume, cannot be placed in your waste bin.
Metal bulky items collection
Residents can take advantage of the collection to dispose of certain items, provided they comply with the new terms and conditions.
The next collection date is April 23, 2025.
We invite interested residents to read the details and instructions carefully.
How to dispose of it?
To dispose of your bulky metal items, you must register for collection by completing the form available on the Pivot citizen platform, before noon on April 17, 2025.
Instructions to follow
- There is no limit to the number of bulky metal items per collection.
- Items must be placed at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on the morning of collection, or no earlier than 7 p.m. the day before.
- Each item must not exceed 50 kg and a maximum dimension of 3 metres on the longest side.
- Household hazardous waste, construction, and demolition waste are not accepted.
- Appliances (washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator, etc.)
- Exercise equipment (treadmill, elliptical, etc.)
- Metal bed frames
- Furnaces
- Machine tools without oil or fuel (lawnmowers, chainsaws, etc.)
- Pumps
- Metal poles and pipes
- Water tanks
