Household hazardous waste (HHW) refers to waste from hazardous products commonly used in homes, such as used oils, paints, solvents, compact fluorescent light bulbs, pesticides, drugs, cleaning products, etc.
Residents can take advantage of a special collection to dispose of their HHW.

Residents are invited to bring their hazardous household waste (HHW) directly to the municipal garage. Municipal employees will be on hand to assist you. Please follow these guidelines:
Used oils, lubricants, empty containers and filters
Hydrocarbons
Painting
Electronic Residues
Others
Rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries
Mercury and fluorescent lamps
Any HHW not listed above, such as:
Any unknown product or damaged container will not be collected.
You can also drop off your HHW to the MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais' Waste transit station and HHW centre located at :
